Nearly three months into the second Trump administration, President Donald Trump has had many of his cabinet picks confirmed as several others still await confirmation from the United States Senate.Â
The Trump cabinet nominees, many of whom have now been confirmed, include prominent political figures historically associated with both political parties, many current political officeholders as well as political outsiders who have never worked in government before. Most positions have required confirmation by the Republican-controlled Senate, which has 53 Republicans and 47 Democrats.Â
